Effective performance management relies on both formal and informal processes. It involves planning – for example, defining and reviewing objectives, linking ways of achieving those objectives to business plans, and setting measures of success. These are often discussed in meetings between the line manager and employees, known as performance review or appraisal. A time to set individual SMARTER goals and a set of objectives for the coming year.
But performance management is not only led by managers, but it also involves establishing a climate in which individuals and groups take responsibility for the continuous improvement of business processes and their own skills, behaviours, and contributions.
We support you in the performance management by implementing systems, process, and procedures to form the performance program and plan. In turn, if you need it, we will conduct the performance review and support staff in setting out their SMARTER goals, while monitoring their performance throughout. When things do not go according to plan, we are also there to support your business and staff by mediation and mentoring.
